Why are you throwing around the word “compromise” when neither the reactionaries nor the market liberals will compromise on anything they want? I cannot name one thing that either the elephants or donkeys have done that has moved the US even closer to the center of the political spectrum in the past 50 years.

5·16 天前The courts still need to weigh in on this. If you purchase a license to use the software, the company shouldn’t have the power to revoke that license without cause. The license should last as long as the copyright/patent/etc. does.

Everyone forgets Goddard. He invented what the German scientists perfected after a lot of government investments. The US didn’t want to go that way with Rocketry, until the world saw the Germans make it work.
The US set Goddard to work on Jet assisted take off in WWII.

31·1 个月前For decades people have been warming about inverted totalitarianism… where private companies do the heavy lifting in controlling and surveillance or the population. Very few listened. Now that we are approaching complete sacrifice of your privacy to these companies, people are finally waking up. But it may be too late.

This is the Fed’s fault.
There should have never been less than 3 percent mortgages. They basically gave away free home equity to an entire generation. And you know what they did? Bought 2nd homes and allowed VRBO/AirB&B to thrive. Now with “normal” interest rates, none of this makes any sense.
But that’s what they were told radical leftist is! The propaganda has been wildly successful.
