

More than anything, I just want NTFS-style transparent compression on Ext4.
Yes, I know about btrfs, but its compression options incur too much of a performance hit, and overall it’s just not a reliable enough filesystem for daily use, IMO. If it ever gets a proper fsck equivalent, I may start considering it more seriously.

GNOME Disks is awesome. It’s the one GNOME app I use regularly, and it amazes me just how good it is given who develops it.
