  • Samsung unexpectedly released the One UI 6 beta for the Galaxy A54 before rolling it out for the S22 series and Z Flip/Fold.
  • The beta is currently available in South Korea and can be accessed through the Samsung Members app.
  • New features in One UI 6 include an updated Quick Settings panel, redesigned notifications layout, and modernized camera app icons.
  • Disappointed Galaxy S22 owners await their version; a third One UI 6 beta for the S23 series is rumored for mid-September.

The more I hear about this phone, the more I regret going for the S23 Ultra. I only got it for the battery life, and as far as I can tell, the A54 does better but costs half the price. Oh well, lesson learned, I guess.

Is the A54’s battery that good? I’ve heard nothing but positive things about the 23 Ultra battery and I’d assume you get more than twice the performance/features right?

I’m not super concerned with performance or features other than maybe a decent camera. I prefer to do anything more difficult than sending messages on my laptop. The A54 has the same sized battery as the S23 Ultra, but it uses a much more power efficient chip that isn’t all that much slower, so it seems like a worthy tradeoff to me.

That seems worth the trade off in my opinion. All I want is a longer lasting battery so maybe that’ll be worth grabbing if I need a new device.

I have this phone, and no it doesn’t but you don’t really miss it. At least I don’t anyway.
