Less to do with Trump himself and more the realization that half of America look at his actions and actively agree with them.

I’ve always known people kinda suck, but they’re so much worse than I was willing to admit to myself… half of America wholly supports rape, racism, misogyny, greed, dictatorships, and abuse of power. It’s wild.

Please stop saying half, it’s never been half! About 40% of eligible voters don’t turn out to vote or are suppressed, and even then Trump has never won a popular vote

I don’t really see much difference between a Trump voter, a Bush voter, a Reagan voter. It all blends together. Those ignorant and arrogant enough to say their vote doesn’t matter are clearly the slaves Kanye was talking about — even if Kanye’s a Nazi

Half of eligible people allowed to vote who then vote. Don’t forget, voter suppression is rampant.

That shit makes me feel worse. You mean to say knowing about all the people that decide not to vote make you feel better about the percentage of people who’d actually vote for Donald? I practically see them as the same thing

I’ve reposted this story so many times…

After the 2016 election there was a panel discussion with all the creators of TV’s biggest political dramas; House of Cards, Scandal, Veep, The West Wing et al.

All the producers said the same thing. If they’d had a fictional character say that they ‘liked soldiers who didn’t get captured’ the networks and advertisers would have demanded that the character be hated on by all Americans.

As a neighbor to the US the amount of votes he receives is terrifying, I thought the general public was better but learned soon after COVID it was not. No need to worry about your fellow man if he’s dead after all right? Like even if a party wanted to do most of his platform cough heritage foundation it’d at least be more palatable (to understand) than them wanting to vote in someone who wants to loot their treasury and just avoid jail…unless they’re all criminals…huh.

Boo-fucking-hoo. Everyone has some form of emotional distress at some point but you don’t see them throwing a tantrum and trying to set the whole country on fire over it.

Good thing the right wing media they relentlessly consume doesn’t constantly invent things to be afraid of.
