Literally nobody is asking for thin electronics. Make them thicker and give the people what they actually need; bigger batteries. iPhone T H I C C when.

To be fair, they have been making them thicker and adding bigger batteries. The iPhone 12 Pro was 7.4mm thick while the 16 pro is 8.25mm

I completely agree. I always have my 15 in a case, but sometimes I take it out to clean it or wipe out water when it gets splashed.

The phone feels twice as thin, and it’s nice, but not my priority at all.

Why do you want a thicker phone? Bending down sucks with a big or thick phone

For the reason that I wrote in my post. I want bigger batteries. Also it is more comfortable to grip.

Right, maybe you just have bigger pockets than me.

Also bigger size is harder to use with one hand

Well I didn’t say I want a bigger phone. They cut down on battery capacity because of this thinness obsession. Thicker doesn’t mean bigger. Actually 6" is more than enough for a mobile.

Are you a man or a woman? Mens pants tend to have functional pockets that actually fit phones, and I’ve never had that problem before in my life. Hell I carry two phones with me most of the time and I’ve never even considered that an issue.

Womens pants where the phone doesn’t even fit I could kinda understand. But I’d much rather a thicker more rigid phone that isn’t likely to get bent should from these ilfitting pockets.

@TORFdot0 @meldrik why is it that so little people realize that the iPhone 13 mini was the best iPhone in the past 10 years?

Bigger = better? Forget it! I can do anything I want in my iPhone 13 mini and see people struggling with their phablets all the time.

Anyway, if the iPhone Air is bigger than the Pro versions, I’m seriously considering the Samsung flip.

I can see the point that foldable iPhones are coming, and Apple need practice making packages as thin as possible. If it means the non-pro models get a little thinner then great, as long as the cost of this R&D testing isn’t all loaded on the price of this year’s models, because no one cares about a 1mm difference.
