I’m not a fan of Biden, but Carville is one of the worst people in politics.

The dotcom boom happened and this guy sincerely thinks it was because the rich weren’t paying taxes, so cutting taxes would make another boom

A third way Democrat looks at something and immediately interprets it as “we should do something Republicans want to do!”

      Yes, that tracks.

    Clinton Strategist

Oh boy, I am sure he is excellent at his job. How did Clinton’s strategy do, again?

What’s that? Her campaign made strategic fumbles so massive that they turned a 2-million vote lead into a victory for her opponent, Donald fucking Trump?

    James Carville

The guy who called Sanders a Communist and warned of the end of days if he got the nomination?

I mean hell, if Biden had been President 30 years ago, I still wouldn’t have a lot of confidence in him not fucking up an interview. He’s been a gaff machine for at least that long. It sucks that now people want to say that he’s losing his mind because he talks like he has for a long time. He is old though, maybe he is losing his mind. Carville still comes off like a jackass. Like he did the last time I saw him during Bill’s Presidency.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Democratic strategist James Carville said President Biden not sitting for an interview before the Super Bowl is a “sign” of his administration having little confidence in him.

Biden’s decision not to participate comes as he’s been facing bad press in the wake of the release of a special counsel report on his handling of classified documents.

The report from special counsel Robert Hur, released Thursday, concluded no charges should be brought against the president, but it noted Biden had problems with memory and recall.

“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory,” Hur wrote.

It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him — by then a former president well into his eighties — of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness.”

Biden hit back at the report in a fiery press conference Thursday night, defending his memory and mental capability.

Wait, was it Carville who called Republicans a basket of deplorables?

Democrats need to stop, look, and listen-yes even to James Carville, or we are going to have a second term of President Trump.

If we’re casting around looking for good advice from relevant people, James Carville would be way down that list.

Maybe, but it was also this James Carville:

In February 2020 media appearances and interviews, against a backdrop of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders’ rise in the polls, Carville expressed his displeasure at the prospect of Sanders being nominated, branded Sanders as a “communist” and pejoratively labeled Sanders’ base of support as a “cult”, warning of the “end of days” if Sanders were to win the Democratic nomination.[177][178] Carville used his media appearances surrounding the dustup to rail against the ascendance of progressive populist Democratic policy positions such as student loan debt forgiveness[179] and “people voting from jail cells.”[180] Carville also decried banning hydraulic fracking for shale gas.[181]

So I’d call him pretty deplorable.

But hey, without him, we wouldn’t have President Michael “John Kennedy Recloned” Bennett, now would we?
