In an automatic the car decides when to shift gears and to which gear. And it also decides how softly or hard it should do this.
In a manual car you have to do all of this yourself, but that also means you decide when and how to do it.

It depends on the car, my first car used gasoline, so the idle torque was low and you really needed to push the gas at the same time, otherwise it would stall, maybe not if you are releasing the clutch extremely slow, but that is not practical.
My current diesel car has so much torque even at idle that you really don’t need to press the gas pedal while releasing the clutch.
Weak roots are also used with grafted trees for another reason, the tree will carry fruits earlier and more numerous at the start.
A tree with normal or strong roots might carry a lot of fruits after 10 years when it got pretty big, but before it is just a few.
But strong roots also go deeper, so less/no watering is needed, which is why I prefer strong roots, I don’t have to make money with the trees in my garden after all.
I have to use this at work, so yeah.
The really scary part is, I have gotten used to it and now it doesn’t feel so bad anymore.
Maybe AOC and Bernie should really make their own party, at some point it makes no sense to continue to try to work with democrats if all they do is sabotage them.
Yes, I know how entitled some people in the US can be. Don’t get me wrong, we also have some of those here but the entitled people in the US are on a different league. I visited the US once and we experienced the first entitled person before even getting through security.
I guess here in Germany we don’t have quite the same mentality that the business needs to help pack your stuff, we also don’t have grocery baggers (or door greeters).
Yes it would kill you if it were to flow through you, but it is very low for a power strip, especially one with so many sockets.
In the US you help people load stuff? I don’t think I have ever seen employees help someone load stuff here in Germany, apart from when someone bought a whole garden house or other stuff that isn’t on the shelves in the first place, but in the warehouse in the back, so they had to bring it out anyway.
I think some employees probably help if they feel like it, but only when you are nice. If you asked them to load a bag of mulch they would probably just say “good luck with loading it yourselves” 😂
Also if the difficult customers go and take their business elsewhere that means that mostly nice customers remain, so that’s nice.
Yeah, that was also what was used in my school.
The only problem was, it was rarely updated so all the applications were always very outdated. And it was still possible to play Minecraft without any administrator privileges.
I try to not get mad at people who say stuff like this, it’s just not worth it.
Instead I try to really confuse them by giving them some strange answer, it’s usually funny.
A forest floor shouldn’t be heavily compacted, that would also lead to the leaves breaking down instead of just laying there.
Looking at the photo on top of this thread, which shows his hand, it seems like he has the tatoos, but not the letters MS 13.
So that picture was most likely of his hands, and then someone added the MS13 to it.
That’s actually not unlikely, but the way china handles critical information we will never be sure.
I imagine they also have other false claims on there that are much worse though.
As far as I understand it, he doesn’t even have that anymore, but now it has become a part of his look so he doesn’t change it.
I’m not going to pay to read that.
No, we don’t have any tariffs between countries in the EU for the most part, it’s one of the reasons the EU is so great.
I’m pretty sure scientists back then could have told you that these balloons are too small. The person(s) who drew that picture most likely wasn’t a scientist, which is why it looks how it looks.
And the people who want to go back to the 50s don’t realise that the fiscal policies were what made that time great, not the social norms.
For example, the great thing wasn’t that women had to do the housework, the great thing was that you only needed one worker per household to live a good life.
I can live with missing a lot of stuff, but a stereo system with at least bluetooth and AC if you live anywhere that gets even remotely hot are necessities for me.
But I don’t live in the US anyway (and I am glad about that), so I cannot get this truck anyway. I am looking forward to something similar being sold here, but in a small van version, that would be my ideal electric car.
