The charge time is most of the time the dealbreaker, because humans are lazy, with an EV you can not just go “oh i forgot to fuel up, lets go to the next gas station and fill it up in seconds” rather “Oh i forgot to plug in my EV after a long drive, guess i will have to wait some hours”.
