I’m gonna be honest, the comparison between the two as DF has just better Rimworld has not been correct for a long time. Arguably it was never accurate because Rimworld gives you better control where dwarf fortress is more like a settlement/cuty builder + increased depth to simulation, Z-axis and some RPG mechanics.

If we want to be real Rimworld has plenty of mechanics introduced by DLC (not to mention mods) that just don’t and won’t ever exist in Dwarf Fortress.
