I was in Colombia for 4 weeks, had a local sim. Think i got a promotional message like this 2 or 3 times a week. It wasn’t MOVISTAR but their competitor Claro. Luckily they were regular SMS and i could just silence the notifications.

I dont have a pair of those but do have shoes with zero drop, without cushioned heel etc, and I really didn’t know I landed my feet with a lot of force. Been exclusively using barefoot shoes for a few years now and I wouldn’t say it changed my life but also I will not go back. Probably if someone gave me super expensive ‘regular’ shoes I would still not walk on them. Maybe if they paid me. Maybe.

My country is too small for domestic flights, might explain the difference in our experience. Here your carry-ons are paying a serious part of their costs, no way they’d let someone take up double or triple the space without asking for money.

They don’t care how long you’ve been smoking, I guess it has more to do with how much money you have. Maybe they figured out they can’t suck you any more dry then you already are. Or they dont think you would spend enough to justify the R&D. Because i am quite sure, if people would not spend money for abovewater cigs but would for underwater cigs, they would find a way to make money from that.
