So I sorta want to ask fediverse people about the laws of their country in regard to whats happening in the us but it seems all the ask people on the fedeverse type communities don’t allow politics and then the politics community only allows links so no text questions.
What exactly is the problem? Where have you asked that you’ve been shut down?
basically everywhere even when its allowed. lots of genuine pro-russia and pro-china communists around here
I have not been shut down but before I post I read the sidebar and generally try to abide by it. This is not a complaint post im genuinely looking to see if there is a community to meet this in between thing.

Shit sucks, smoke weed, and try not to be depressed. Also go to nature and hike/camp as much as you can, or it gets worse.
I do the nature thing but I wanted to ask folks how much they think their country follows its own rules domestically. Obviously I know the answer in the us and once you loop in military action things tend to go out the window. Im actually intellectually curious on peoples views of their own country.
As an American, if you’re American, we’re not escaping this. We deserve this, and we need to deal with what our parents and grandparents built, in ways that can’t be posted online. We have no option to flee because no one wants us. We are here. It sucks. We need to be better.
But if you want the “dream”…look at Denmark. They won’t take us, but that’s where I’d go if I could. Bicycles everywhere, they focus on individual freedom, and they still have winter. Denmark.
Well thats not the question but what im really looking for is an appropriate place to post it as this community is about communities so I figured I could do an ask for community type thing. so what im looking for is a poll the fediverse type of community that allows questions to veer into politics.
