Ignorant people who don’t know where Muay Thai comes from.

Surely, someone in all that crowd is going to be waiting to utilize their training.

I find it extremely weird how we can all agree spreading such hateful generalisations is bad in any other context, but it’s A-Okay when you narrow it down to tourists. I get the hate for them, but their fellow citizens can’t help where they happened to be born either.

Anyway, him being from Israel was just a rumour, OP even changed the title since there was no evidence. If you are going to keep this comment up for still being true enough, at least keep in mind that this specific tourist does not contribute to the tally.

Or immigrants. I can’t count the times some random bullshit that could’ve been perpetrated by locals was blamed on outsiders. People love their xenophobia.

Thailand, Vietnam, Laos are full of the most amazing humans who smileso much. Their sense of family is very strong. Also, the national sport is Thaiboxing. This turkey used his fists to both for Christmas

So that he could have the experience of feeling the fear, humiliation, and pain that his victims have felt. Maybe it will give him pause the next time he considers lashing out.

Two people got violently beat up and that puts a smile on your face?? Even though the guy deserved this, it’s all fucked up beyond words.

I don’t wanna live in this fucked up world where violence is the answer to everything and violence makes people smile.

Ah, no. If you had some reading comprehension you would have seen and understood that when I said “…the getting his ass beat part” meant exactly that. It made me smile that an asshole who beat a woman (in this case in public) got his just rewards. You also said “Even though the guy deserved this” so you kinda self-cancelled your argument.

Retribution, not violence. If it was violence that made them happy, they would be happy that the woman was beaten too.

So I would not say you got everything 100% correctly, no.

I always assume people are being kind/polite because it’s easier than being shitty, not because of any weakness.

I think the woman was probably a “ladyboy” transgender. Does not excuse his behavior and with how badly he was beating her, I’m glad to see him be put in his place by a society that knows how to respect people. I’ve seen men not handle their emotions well when realizing who they started interacting with.

Best just to walk away if it’s not your thing. Some people just have too fragile and ego.

Fuck anybody making excuses for people getting violent because they are ashamed of their own horniness.

Also, Thailand has more professional fighters per thousand than anywhere else, I would NOT want to show my ass on the street in a country where 1/10 65kg dudes could beat my ass bloody.

Guys who lash out like that are 100% looking for an excuse to assault LGBTQ+ people. I’m a straight cis guy, I’ve been approached by men and turn them down politely the same way I would a woman I wasn’t interested in, no violence. The few guys who were handsy or inappropriate were dealt with by the community, no involvement from me needed.
