41·10 days agoOR - they could dumb down grapheneOS so that it can run on a lot of other phones ?? ? maybe? yes? I get the desire to be able to encrypt the entire drive - that IS important, but I think its more important to get the functionality of graphene provides to more people. A non-google based phone is pointless on only google based hardware.
what are the lyrics in english?
24·11 days agoEarth’s rotation is unpredictable. It gradually slows due to tidal forces, but recently (since around 2020) it’s been speeding up due to climate factors like melting ice at the poles redistributing mass toward the equator. This acceleration means a negative leap second might have been needed soon, a scenario that terrifies computer engineers 😆

Just stop trying to harvest the input from “abusive” people, you don’t need to ban them. No other tool in human history needed this. Its like telling you that using a hammer to open a pickle jar is making hammers worse everywhere else on the planet.

for 40+ people who built the WWW then sold it to the enshitifiers, which they now regret
The last time I checked, no person under the age of 18 can purchase internet access from an ISP. An adult has to enter a contract before a single byte can be transferred across the internet. All the content you see online was put there by an adult, or the responsibility of an adult. The internet itself is already an age gate.
This shit is like a nightclub sueing the government to have the bus driver check id’s

“Ads are how we sell as much information about you as we possibly can so that it can be free for you. This sites content is the nectar in our fly trap. Get the fuck into our fly trap so we can extract as much from your humanity as we possibly can”
Its actually the capitalist class that feels entitled to other people labor for “free”, or grossly underpaid
Their labor was already exploited before it became a product for you to download
