I’ve seen users say they got strikes/bans and their comments removed for speaking out against any of those people and their friends and there’s clearly a push for anti-left content + some communities critical of the current American government get buried.

I got a Reddit ban for quoting a game on the game’s sub and all my appeals were ignored in spite of trying to explain it. Their AI moderation is HORRIBLE at picking up nuance and intent of the users.

Not necessarily weird. I’m part of social groups where the youngest are in their mid or early 20s and the oldest are in their 70s or early 80s. If there are common interests it can work. Though I do get why this can be side-eyed if the older parties exclusively only hang around younger people.
