Sure. Was using the chat function to talk with a friend. Keyword in the chat was flagged by hivemoderation and I was issued a permanent ban. Appeals went nowhere - I am pretty sure they are done by AI and there is no way to talk to an actual human anymore. Their email bounces. Even I as a mod had no recourse.

Since it is just as easy for a high karma account and subreddit mod to get banned as a newly registered low karma bot, my only conclusion is that over time the average karma will trend downward and it will no longer be possible to identify which accounts are trusted humans and which are just bots, making the content on the site less valuable. I guess spez doesn’t care since he’s already cashed out.

Make sure if you are doing this you use an EU server as otherwise VPN use will result in an instant shadowban

My 10,000 karma account was banned by a bot. It makes no difference how old the account is.
