minus-square@[email protected]linkfedilink2•1 year agoMy family’s fist computer was a Tandy 1000 around 92. I was so stoked to make video games on the fly like Clarissa Explains It All did. Little did I know game development takes a little more elbow grease than cutting and pasting pictures of your friends into an existing game format. I learned a lot about getting around in DOS because the desktop OS it shipped with was garbage, at least.
That sounds amazing. Always wanted a Tandy. Even if it’s before my time.
