No lol it’s over the counter and you apply it topically. The liquid is more powerful than the foam, but the foam is better for sensitive skin.
Couple of things:
Wash your face before use
Apply it topically to the area 2* a day
Wash it off after an hour then apply moisturiser
Use sunscreen and wear a hat. Minox makes skin more sensitive to sun damage.
It was originally a blood pressure medication with a side effect of growing hair. Don’t take it if you have blood pressure issues.
I’ve been applying it for a couple of years and I went from not being able to grow a single hair to having a pretty decent beard— still needs some improvement though, so I’m applying once per day.
Minoxidil
Is that strictly prescription?

Just a note to anyone considering minoxidil, it is extremely toxic to cats even in very small amounts.
As a cis man with a big bushy beard, what happens if I use this?
If your body has the ability to grow more hairs, it will grow more hairs.
Apparently you have to take Minoxidil for life? Seems like there are pros and cons
No lol where did you hear that? You take it for a couple of years then stop once the hairs have become terminal hairs
I watched a youtube short from a “doctor”. That’s the extent of my exposure to the subject
And a shitload of testosterone
