Democratic presidential nomineeĀ Kamala Harris stopped her fans from getting too wild with theirĀ Trump bashing at a campaign rally in Wisconsin on Wednesday.

On the second day of her battleground blitz with running mateĀ Tim Walz, when she got to the point in her now-familiar stump speech about her days prosecuting predators, fraudsters and scammers, supporters, like those inĀ Philadelphia on Tuesday, were just starting to chant ā€œlock him upā€ when Harris deviated from the script.

ā€œWell, hold on,ā€ she said, holding out her hand as if to placate the crowd in Eau Claire, Wisc. ā€œYou know what, the courts are going to handle that part of it. What weā€™re gonna do is beat him in November.ā€

Well, the courts are obviously not going to handle that part of it. Still, I think itā€™s wise to show that the Democratic side of the aisle takes the high ground.

Standing firm in their opposition to prosecuting the rich and powerful.
