But they are the rules…so I’ll abide by them. I’ll just block the trolls, which leads to them being able to say their nonsense unchallenged, which I think hurts us all.

Yeah, when someone gets a ban, there is a choice to remove all content. I generally don’t do that because it leaves no fingerprints in the modlog.
