I really love Linux Mint, I remember opening my old repaired laptop after years of it being damaged just to see my Mint desktop again where I first learnt python.
I just switched to Linux mint from arch I have no regrets I see why people praise it now.
woah, it always seems the other way ? can I ask why ?
I use LMDE by the way ;)
To be fair, Linux Mint having long development cycle is perfect for stability. I have Mint on my laptop for god knows how long, I never had to reinstall it, never seen a crash, never seen an issue. For a laptop I only use occasionally (during vacations) I couldn’t have chosen a better distro
Don’t know why that is news. They used to call them Edge versions and the same Linux kernel is also available in any up to date Mint installation.
