Trying to find a mecha/robot anime probably It’s an old anime. It has one scene where a boy was sitting inside robot then a girl jump on his lap and he closed the robot head and they were going to fight a large mothership like thing. Also, that girl was not human I guess(not sure).
Gurren Lagann maybe?
It look like it though but does it have any big mothership like thing. It was very big compared to Simon Mech. I am not talking about Anti-Spiral.
