President Joe Biden’s controversial pardon of his son Hunter may give President-elect Donald Trump a blank check to issue his own round of pardons upon taking office.

Are we just pretending trump didn’t already issue a bunch of pardons to people who committed crimes to cover his own crimes?

    This isn’t analysis - it’s craven blame-shifting.

Trump already has a blank check to issue pardons and already intends to abuse the power in ways never before seen, and it doesn’t make the slightest bit of difference what Biden or anyone else does or doesn’t do.

Right because Trump never misused the pardon power before /s

This is a stupid excuse. He was always going to pardon J6ers and other allies, just like he always has

They were coming one way or another. Trump will not waste time abusing every single part of the constitution and office of the president for his own gain. I guarantee you’ll see a time where he’s advertising pardons for money out in the open.
