That’s the only thing that’s stopped me from getting too excited about this one. I haven’t reinstalled World just because of how they forced players into it.
Though with Dauntless getting shuttered at the end of March, maybe I’ll have to dust off the ol’ gunlance.
Thank you for signaling to capcom that idiots who are happy to gobble up shit are plentiful and they don’t need to spend any effort on making their games playable.
I find it amusing that you virtue signal in other threads but when someone complains that capcom is precluding a significant portion of MH fanbase for lacking a modicum of technical dedication you retort with some carpe diem bullshit. If I didn’t know better I’d wager you’re from the US, that “fuck you, I got mine” attitude is quite prevalent overseas.
I’m so glad you came to the rescue of all those poor dedicated MH fans by taking the time to pick on one fan who bought a game. Mission accomplished, Capcom has been told and will now change their ways.
I’m so glad you came to the rescue of all those poor Jewish people by taking the time to pick on one nazi who said something stupid. Mission accomplished, NSDP has been told and will now change their ways.
This is not a reductio ad absurdum. You didn’t reduce anything to an absurd caricature. This is a false equivalency and you made a fool out of yourself.
There is a good case to be made that consumers need to be aware of their habits and if they are or are not supporting exploitation with them. But it isn’t on the individual consumer if practices continue. It is on the consumer rights advocates and lawmakers to tackle the issue and galvanize those they represent for support.
So next time you see somebody being blindly consumerist, maybe instead of attacking them you try to sway them to support a more proactive stance towards doing their part.
I didn’t pre-order for this very reason. I have no trust in AAA games on launch anymore after seeing my friends grilling steak on their GPU while still only getting 45fps.
PC performance is not good. Does that disappoint me? Yes. Did I still buy it and am I enjoying it? Also yes.
Does it still come with Capcom’s anti-mod rootkit?
Couldn’t tell you.

Man, life is short. I just want to enjoy whacking monsters. Don’t like it, don’t buy it mate.

Do you apply the same logic to everything?
Let’s do a reductio ad absurdum:
I’m so glad you came to the rescue of all those poor Jewish people by taking the time to pick on one nazi who said something stupid. Mission accomplished, NSDP has been told and will now change their ways.
Your logic, as expected, is flawless.
So true, video games really are just like the holocaust
That is the definition of false equilavance.
I see you just skipped the reductio ad absurdum part.
Merica, fuck yeah!

Glad to have amused you.
