This is the sad truth. Americans care far more about forcing their ideology on others than they do about their own well-being. If people actually took a second to think “how will this fuck me over” instead of “but what if good things happen to the types of people I don’t like” then life would be a whole lot better for everyone.

I mean as much offense as possible when I say: making life harder just because it “brings people closer to God” is the wrong way to run things and always has been.
