    wasn’t the thing that ended the great depression a world war? I find that even more concerning.

      Well, I’m not sure about other nations, but there was also a lot of new progressive reform such as the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 and The New Deal of 1933 in the USA. I don’t really feel like the nazis or japanese had much to do with ending the great depression.
