Democrats spent twenty+ years dismantling the investigative journalism apparatus, killing off or running out those who wouldn’t buy into softballing and puff-piecing their bastards. Why would they back something that would allow for calling truth to all power, not just the power that prefers red ties? No, Biden’s faction wants to pick and choose. Hell, I don’t even trust Schumer to actually be behind this and he’s the one who claims writing it.
I find it interesting that Democrats are getting all the heat that was normally reserved for all politicians. They’re not special and certainly not the only perpetrators of watering down journalism and softball interviews.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world looks in horror as America loses its basic freedoms and rights. Not that the US ranked high among developed nations on lots of these issues to begin with, we are just circling the drain.
