Got to agree with the conclusion of the review, while this seems like a decent offering (and I personally like the “retro” look), for Є400, you might as well get a A55 with a much better screen and probably longer security support (Android OS updates aren’t that important these days).

60Hz refresh rate in 2024? This might be a phone you buy for your parents but with other options available out there, it’s going to come down to whatever specific niche this phone fills and whether that’s enough compared to the competition.

idk, I couldn’t care less about 90Hz. I switched to 60 Hz to save battery on my last phone that had a 90Hz display anyway.

I love how narrow the Xperia 10 series is. It’s a great one-handed phone, and the 21:9 aspect ratio is great for getting a lot of text on the page.

Yeah, there’s a bunch of comments I see how people can’t ever go back to 60hz after trying 120hz even if it uses more battery. Then when someone says 60hz is fine and not that noticeable of a difference they assume something is wrong with their eyes…

I think the previous model had the best battery life of any phone GSMArena had tested, so I guess that’s the niche. But I’m sceptical of a crossover between people who buy phones with with an extreme focus on battery life and people who buy phones with pretty unimpressive and out of date mid-range processors. Particularly at the price the 10 series retails for. I’m struggling to understand why Sony continues with the 10 but I guess there is a market somewhere.
