got it, thank you!!
got it, thank you!!
hey, I’m getting into this kind of repair. I have good soldering skills and am great at taking things apart, but do you have any tips on how to find the fault? even it’s just a blow capacitor, what am I looking for?
sounds easy considering I haven’t bought anything from Amazon in years
since this is targeted at pirates, I’d actually stay away from mullvad since they got rid of port forwarding
Caddy all the way!
indeed! im a computer science student who can’t read a graph, that’s tough haha
you’re right lol. at first glance I thought the y axis was in inches not feet. make sense now lol
doesn’t this suggest that my 27" monitor I sit a foot away from should just be 480p? that seems a little noticable to me
have you tried bottles? I’ve great luck with using it for windows only software and it’s way more user friendly than wine by itself.
damn I was unaware. guess I haven’t done any gun shopping in a hot second (although that may change soon considering the way everything seems to be going in America lol)
found this decently relevant stack exchange on USB c symmetry: https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/685358/why-does-this-usb-c-connection-only-work-in-one-connector-orientation
based on my (non electrical engineer) read of the top response, it seems like the pins that connect for power delivery communication (how the device tells how to treat the device that’s being plugged in) aren’t symmetrical and can sometimes misbehave, but again, I don’t really know what I’m talking about lol
fun rabbit hole tho, thanks!
wow. I’m honestly super curious as to why that happened. the USB c was designed to be quite symmetrical so it doesn’t make a difference in how you plug it in, each connector is still touching the same type of pin. I wonder if it something with the adapter itself and the fact that it has to translate from USB a? glad you got it figured out but damn that’s an interesting technical gremlin
well. I guess I’m now cis woman. mission accomplished I guess 🏳️⚧️
there’s not tho. they need to meet unrealistic testosterone standards, and they need proof of care they can’t get.
probably well known at this point but rsync is incredible and I use it all the time
unfortunately as someone who fixes phones day in and day out I cannot own a pixel. absolutely horrendous build quality. there’s a gap behind the screen which is held on solely by shitty adhesive on a thin bezel, and the amount of devices I’ve seen totaled by a drop on a corner destroying that bezel so a new screen can’t be installed is insane.
maybe a tree or branch falling on it?
all this and they count in a different base
that makes sense. appreciate it!!
