  • I don’t understand how other communists can defend Russia at this point. It feels to me like most of them forget that Russia is no longer a communist country.

They’re capitalists. Putin is often using christo-fascist tactics. He’s also pushing for Russian imperialism in very capitalistic ways. Also, Russia was 100 percent the agitators here.

Just because it challenges US worldwide hegemony doesn’t automatically make it good, boys.

Stairs are different muscles. I used to work at a dam where I would have to climb 20 flights of stairs/ladders multiple times a day with 80 pounds worth of tools on me. Before then stairs were difficult for me, now I can run up that with that much weight no problem. I haven’t worked there for a year but I also can do sub hour 10k (barely) but those muscles stay with you as long as you stay on your feet regularly during the day.

If it’s an issue for you I suggest weight training up and down the stairs you have available to you (in your house maybe?) 5 minutes a day with a couple 20 pound weights up and down those bitches and you’ll make walking stairs your bitch for the rest of your life. If you can do a sub 10k you have the willpower to do it if you want to.

  • Yeah that’s crazy. To me high sugar diets being the cause of obesity seems like common knowledge. It seems like these educational failings must be at some level intentional considering the US does better than other countries on education that have better obesity ratings and are also more impoverished to me. But I’m just going based on numbers I just looked up here. The added sugar in absolutely everything in North America seems like more of the culprit here to me. I live in Canada and our rating is about one in four where the US is close to 50 percent. I feel like we have similar issues with our food but that’s a significant difference in obesity. Our cities and towns are designed to be more walkable for sure, but we still don’t compare to places like Europe.
