I’m trying to avoid Chromium clones altogether. I really don’t like the engine quasi-monopoly we have and I don’t want to participate in furthering it.

It’s not in Firefox mobile.
Sure, I could probably find the URLs to add it in at a new custom search engine. But if you’re gonna make such a bombastic announcement, I expect you to have the update ready beforehand.
Do they not realize that mobile is most Web traffic nowadays?
Hey, if it consoles you, three quarters of our pure back-end C# developers are as you describe, too.
All the full-stack devs I’ve worked with so far were just back-end developers who write terrible front-end code.
The more you buy, the more you save!
Some might argue that modern English is a creole of old English and French
I’ll be honest I find it hard to understand for sports as well.
The supreme court, after such an amendment miraculously passes:
“Well actually, this sentence doesn’t mention the president of the United States in particular, so it means every president of every company ever. But a company president doesn’t have pardoning powers, so this makes no sense. So this amendment is invalid!”
That’s good. My first instinct would’ve been that what’s in toothpaste is plenty.
Before even wondering about the health effects, we should ask ourselves whether it actually achieves the desired goal. I doubt that.
If it doesn’t, we don’t even need to wonder about safety; we’ll just stop burning money.
For one it’s not a full, real backup strategy. That’s supposed to include multiple tiers.
Also it’s instantly synced, so if I bonk my stuff locally, it could be bonked over there and history might not be able to save me depending on the situation.
And I guess if Dropbox dies my data dies.
Some people take their data seriously enough to worry about that kind of stuff. I don’t.
I like to annoy my IT friends by saying my backup strategy is chucking what little important data I have in my free Dropbox account.
It’s not even that important; I don’t care!
What does debloating entail exactly?
What the hell. I’ve never seen such an issue. Microsoft is so considerate; they provide us with cool little surprises like that from time to time. ♥️
I like my pizza with lots of sauce, way more vegetables than crust, and cheese is actually optional.
I don’t care what the purists think. I like what I like and it’s valid.
Both are young. I think that’s about it.
How often does that technique actually improve things in the long run?
Get a Nintendo console. Nintendo Games are absolutely a gateway drug. They’re high quality and generally very easy to get into.
It’s not just that the input data is crap. Mostly the issue is that an LLM is a glorified autocomplete. The core of the technology is making grammatically correct sentences. It has no concept of facts or logic. Any impression that it does is just an illusion borne of the word probabilities baked in.
LLMs are a remarkable example of brute-forcing a solution to a problem, but it’s this same brute force that makes me doubt it’ll ever reach the next level.
I don’t know what’s best, but I know FF7 Remake’s annoys me because I always expect it to have i-frames, but it doesn’t.
