I’m a big proponent of normal/semi obscure normal first name, weird middle name. John W Smith if you work in sales, J Wolfgang Smith if you’re an author. Perfect compromise.

Yup, in the office we regularly hire engineers and scientists with a bachelor’s, I’ve never seen anyone even care what tier of bachelor’s. Some people go on to get licensed or a master’s on the company dime but we also have lots of unlicensed never going back to school people in very technical demanding and high ranking positions.
I’m just a geologist with a bachelor’s and am regularly supervising and training people with engineering PhDs. My work place quickly becomes task specific and degrees are worth less than years in the field a lot of the time, your mileage may vary.
Yup, I also have times where pulses in clarity.
Liked the main story well enough. Not as good as Morrowind but on par with FO3/4 and Skyrim which I grade as mediocre. Starfield does have some of my most enjoyed faction quests though.
Biggest failings to me were the repetitive POIs and half finished sub systems that while functional could have been so much better. I’m still happy with my purchase and see myself playing again over the coming years but it’s understandable why so many people walked away from it.
Engine displacement is measured in liters or cc as standard. Harley Davidson demands in using cubic inches though.
Also anyone working federal contract workers won’t have to be worried. My company no longer drug tests because I’m employed in a legal state but the company prohibits pot use and will drug test if the federal contracts asks for it.
I’m 60 hours in and haven’t touched the outpost, ship building, or equipment modding. Main quest and 2 faction side quests completed. I’ve enjoyed my time and bought the game with the expectation that it would be FO4 with some things improved some things worse and a new setting.
There are definitely failings and it’s not a 10/10 game but for a lot of people it’s a great game. The proc gen system needs more variety but that can be improved through updates and mods. If you prefer handcrafted content follow the quests and you’ll see minimal repeats of the POIs. I don’t regret my purchase one bit and would be fine if no DLC, mods, or updates happen even though I prefer they do. End of the day make your own decision based on what you like just realize it’s not a dumpster fire and not the perfect game that everyone should run out and play.
Not op, I’m not seeing anything about calibration for PM or VOC just stuff for open air bump tests. Interesting alternatives to filter load and PIDs I wonder if they’re robust enough to find their way into EPA or OSHA level investigations, I haven’t run across them yet
I have a second hand surface still running windows that I draw on. With a paper like screen protector I find it quite pleasant. Mines a 6 I think, runs Krita great I imagine it’d be even better if I ditched windows bloat.
