That was my place last year. Huge layoff of people who have been there 10 years or longer mostly. 3 weeks before xmas… my boss was one of them and he still doesn’t have a job 1 year later. It’s crazy because he was honestly really good. My new boss is terrible compared to him.

I feel like the 2nd part is the key takeaway they were looking for, longevity. I do feel like they could have learned this from all VR headsets, though. I don’t know anyone who purchased one and was still using it 6 months later. If they are, the % has got to be pretty small? I have no clue how you make these things last longer, but maybe apple will think of something?

I feel like the majority of people who do this barely have an interest in sex or get aroused often. Kind of like people during Lent who give up things they know won’t be a problem.

Some have self tests options. If you have a small one, just unplug it and see if the battery holds at all. If it’s dead it will die really quick.

I am well on my way to this… less about insurance and more about the only dentist i ever had my entire life retired 5 years ago. He was a family friend and great. I’m still not sure how to get another one and also be great.

The other one is they actually make a slightly different model where it’s using cheaper hardware like a slower cpu and nobody really notices or cares because it is cheap but they probably won’t last that long. You can verify by looking at the long model string and see if you can find any info online. If it matches the regular one great, but sometimes it’s not.

You’re probably right, I am just in that awkward phase and have 2 small children. I hope to bounce back once I’m 50 and they are more independent. My situation is obviously different from others.
