If you got a deck and expected it to run the latest AAA titles, you are an idiot.

Bit confused, Google has its own browser, its own search engine, and provides a somewhat easy method to access the majority of the Internet and does it well but some people are upset because they cannot compete? What is the point in doing something so good that you become the best in the business? Everyone comes to you for your service, but you get punished because you’re a monopoly? I’m thinking about Valve here as well. It’s a major retail platform for PC games because nobody does it better. Publishers get upset its top dog, and their shity half arsed clients get no light.
Is it not the point of a business to make money and be good at their service that they increase revenue yearly and drive innovation?
I’ll check it out, thanks
I would love to swap to Linux if I could play all my games without having to dual boot etc. Steam have done wonders with the proton compatability on steamdeck so there is hope but a lot of my hardware also requires software that is windows only too.
It might be a stupid comment I’m no Linux expert, but looking forward to the steamOS coming out for PC.
Not seeing bitwarden on fdroid
I moved from an anycubic mega s which was fully upgraded and worked without an issue for the most part but was a faff to use, to a bambu p1s with ams and oh my god, I actually enjoy priting again. It’s not 1 print a day now, it’s 5-10 all perfect quality and finish. It’s honestly made priting fun again and not a chore. Well worth the jump
Use nova for years, but never found an of the features beneficial. I’ve been using One UI since moving to the s24u and I have noticed no real difference in functionality.
Galaxy s2, after being on an iPhone 3gs, Apple made it increasingly more difficult to jailbreak at the time I did not want to get stuck in their ecosystem so I bailed and never looked back.
I used to install custom roms all the time back before knox on Samsung, now I cannot be bothered, usually something in the roms does not work among other bugs, it takes too long to keep up to date on rooting stuff etc, the support for roms is abysmal. I started to lose interest around the time banking apps started detecting root and not working, there were ways around it with magisk but it was complicated and could not find decent documentation on it.
It just became simpler to use what’s out of the box and the newer phones I started buying had very little in the way of custom roms to start with.
It works for me…
Wasn’t it free to a certain level anyway?
I got an i7-6700 skull canyon? for free through work many years ago, absolutely love it, it now serves as a Linux box and hosts server stuff on it. Only issue is a ram port died and seemed a common problem!?
Still enjoying using it and it’s form factor is fantastic, not sure if I would replace my own desktop with it but would have been an easy consideration for the kids first PC although it may benefit them actually building a tower and learning.
Shame to hear they are stopping
How is the experience with online multiplayer?
I’ve enjoyed using my steamdeck and that OS. Would happily install a desktop variant of SteamOS when available but I mainly play single player games on the deck, I worry I won’t be able to enjoy a number of multiplayer games.
Full speed in the dark, I think most people would failed to avoid that. What’s concerning is it does not stop afterwards
