I had to make the change to Windows 11 at work, it was certainly a downgrade. Pretty common that there is a massive wait for even the most simple applications to load. Quite often I end up opening multiple copies, because I think the first click to open didn’t register, click again and they all open at once. This is on the same hardware that Windows 10 did fine on.
So in your example, I guess the tariffs don’t apply to Canada? Because the proceeds of tariffs go to the government of the country charging them.

Years ago when my schedule allowed it, I slept from 2am to midday for a month. Probably the one time in my adult life that I had caught up on my sleep debt, it was glorious. Although it seemed once I was “caught up” I couldn’t sleep that long anymore.
True but would you prefer weak enforcement or strong enforcement?
Strong enforcement would likely involve the government having better records of your browsing habits.
Since Leisure Suit Larry at least. ;) Since alcohol sales were restricted to adults? Since… ?

I wouldn’t have guessed Nigeria is the third largest English speaking group.
I thought that biscuit flavoured cola was probably fake as well, but then I saw a discarded can of it yesterday

To quote from your source:

I was wondering how CD-RW works, if anyone else wants to know:

They have a layer that can change between clear and opaque that is changed by having different temperatures applied to it.
Isn’t a diskette just a small version of a disk? Much like kitchenette to kitchen
Proton Jumbuck/Arena

Sort of a CC Mitsubishi Lancer Coupe with a tray rather than a rear seat and boot.
Indeed, reminds me of the ones that give you a “power wash [for] your intestines”:

It still needs to learn. I’m personally trying to opt out of it watching everything I do, will have to be some pretty serious benefits for me to revert.
