I’ve always used them so you can leave the car running or in accessory mode (leave the radio on) and still unlock the doors/trunk/glovebox.

Oh for sure. Wouldn’t surprise me if we do get it eventually, but at least with all we know now about it and with all the medical advancements, it’s not quite as big of a deal as it originally was.
Which is especially good for me, because I have pulmonary fibrosis (scarred lungs from working in dusty environments) so it’s something I’d prefer to avoid as long as I can.

I’m pleasantly surprised that me and both my daughters all managed to avoid it somehow. Several people we know were not so lucky, and an ex co-worker lost his wife because of it.
We did take it seriously and masked up, got our shots, washed our hands etc and somehow got through it. Was actually kind of nice because I hadn’t been sick at all for over 6 years.

I’m glad I’ve managed to avoid getting covid, I don’t have the IQ to spare.

They do play some but not all media types. You can look up what types on https://developer.samsung.com/smarttv/develop/specifications/general-specifications.html and go on the left column under “video Specifications” and select the year your tv came out.

Canada here. Winter never, unless we have a rare warm (above -10c/14f) day. Spring as often as I can if/when it’s nice enough outside. Summer usually open until the temps get around 27c/80f then closed and the air conditioner on.
I live in a roughly 100 yr old house though, so with all the cracks etc this place tends to self-ventilate anyway.

Well, if you happen to be in Canada around the beginning of August…
I’m getting old, can’t do that kind of shit anymore without suffering for it for days afterwards but it sure was fun at the time though.

I had saved up over $1300 from odd jobs/paper route in my teens just for it. On my 18th, I bought 30 hits of acid and a few cases of beer for me and my friends, rented a motel room under a different name 80 miles from home, and partied for about 2 days.

Stick him on the SS Minnow.
Shit so hard all the water vaporized.

At this rate the states isn’t going to have very many allies left, aside from Russia.

The ad delivery system is programmed to show you the ads only when the vehicle is in park, just so Stellantis doesn’t get sued for that very reason.
Still, as far as I’m concerned it’s pretty scummy to throw ads on your display to make even more money off you after you’ve already paid them tens of thousands for your vehicle.

And Stellantis (Dodge, Jeep, Chrysler) showing ads on your infotainment screen. (Not to mention all the other bullshit)
Can’t fucking build a car that doesn’t rattle apart after 5 years but they can sure squeeze every cent out of you and your info in the meantime.
I’ve already told my kids I don’t want a funeral, and I hate having pics taken of me but I try to get a few every so often so that they have something to remember me by. I have a few pics of my parents and grandparents when they were alive and it’s nice to be able to see where I came from.

I see this as a complete parenting fail. It is not your job as a parent to ‘protect’ your child from the world, it is your job to prepare them for it.
That poor kid is gonna need a lot of therapy later in life after he/she moves out on their own.
I’m “wire a tape deck to another tape deck to make copies” old.
Fuck my back hurts. I need a nap.

“Botched”
I dunno, I’d bet a lot of people would pay good money for the botch job hanging on their wall over the original.
I don’t have a car anymore but ya, a lot of people still do it.
