Check out the movie, Manos The Hands of Fate, considered on of the worst movies ever, that made for a great MST3K episode. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manos:_The_Hands_of_Fate
3B on the original SD card still. But I also use log2ram to help reduce writes to the SD card.
I will do an AirBNnB when traveling with the wife and kids and another family, so all the kids can interact with each other early in the morning and us adults can all hang out later at night. We have had really good places, but we also do research on the place. I also skip anyplace that has no picture of the front of the place so I can find it on Google Street view and I skip any where with all the BS like in the picture. Otherwise, hotels all the way are better.
That’s unpainted popcorn ceiling. If it was painted it wouldn’t be so easy.

homeassistant@lemmy.world•really happy with my kick plate illuminationEnglish
0·2 months agoI put in cork floor in my bathroom about 16 years ago, it’s held up perfectly. And now I need this kick plate mood lighting.
I get it occasionally in my yard the last few years. It’s invasive where I’m at. However I do see the appeal of it, it smells like it’s name, garlic and mustard. I never tried cooking with it. I should next time.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Has Trick-or-Treating died in your area, and what is to blame?
56·3 months agoFor my neighborhood it was the busiest I’ve ever seen it in 17 years. A lot of home made costumes, even teenagers dressing up and getting in on the action with the gaggles of little kids. A few houses even did mini haunted houses in the front yards and garages. A lot of other houses had people chilling in the driveways with a small fire going. It was in the 50s (F) so not particularly warm either… I’m in a lower to middle class area, no HOA neighborhood so people do what they want with decorating and it’s great.
This is good news it performed as expected under load in the heat.
