This is from the Tantura documentary, about the 1948 massacre of the Palestinian village Tantura. Highly recommend giving it a watch. It’s absolutely chilling.
I don’t speak Hebrew, but saw this documentary, it’s made by Israelis. The quote is correct. The whole documentary is filled with dudes like this “oh yeah, I’m a murderer, but my wife doesn’t know, it happened, what am I going to do about that hahaha”; beyond disgusting.
Nothing the NYT publishes holds integrity. If they want to be paid by the oil industry, a genocidal country, you name it, fine, but don’t expect an increase in readers as younger generations become adults.
I would say he has used his next nine votes prematurely, so not being able to vote the upcoming nine elections only seems fair.
I think it’s really hard for them to imagine other people are not doing the thing they’re doing. Especially in this case. Apparently it’s easy to vote 9 times, and “if I’m doing it, then it would be stupid if Dems didn’t”.
So yeah, it’s always projection, because they just can’t imagine a world where others choose the morally right option.
“Well, that’s exactly right. And there have been allegations made by the Netanyahu government that up to 14 of those 13,000 people were involved in the horrific Oct. 7 attacks,” he said. “We should investigate it, we should hold all those people accountable. But … let’s not hold 2 million innocent Palestinian civilians who are dying of starvation, let’s not hold them, essentially, accountable for the bad acts of 14 people.”
And this is it. Every leader who immediately cut funds is more than happy to pull a Netanyahu and punish the lives of many for the acts of a few (if there is even a hint of this being true, which considering where it comes from and the provided proof, is highly doubtful). Investigate and deal with anyone who did take part in October 7, but don’t punish everyone. A long time ago we all agreed that counts as a war crime.
It clearly shows Palestinian lives are not worth the same as other lives. Why else cut all the funding to 2M+ people over the alleged acts of 0.05% of the employees of UNRWA.
We’re doing this again?
I have been using Firefox as the default browser on my iPhone for a while now. It wasn’t complicated to setup either.
it raises an eyebrow or two if the other person doesn’t associate the two conditions.
I don’t get it. It raises an eyebrow if you don’t link encephalitis and HIV? I’m about 90% sure I must be misunderstanding you…
The problem is that Zionists like to say “Israel = Jews”, raging when you say something anti-Zionist that you’re being an anti-semite. However, what Musk is doing is actually saying Jews are the problem. That’s antisemitism. That is not helping Jews nor is it helping anyone who is anti-Zionist because now people will say “see? Anti-Zionist equals anti-Semite, just look at Musk if you don’t believe me.”
Please don’t conflate anti-semitism with Pro Palestinian voices. What he is doing is not helping anyone.
Good. I hope it goes under.
B’tselem, The Israeli Information Center for Human Rights in the Occupied Territories says the following:
Although Israel declared an end to its military administration in Gaza, it continues to control critical aspects of life there. It controls all border crossings by land, apart from Rafah, as well as Gaza’s sea and air space. This control allows Israel to exclusively monitor the movement of people and goods in and out of Gaza, which it regulates according to Israeli interests. This holds true even when Gaza residents wish only to transit through Israel in order to reach the West Bank or other countries.
Regarding moving of the goal post, you brought up Egypt, not me.
If you want to continue discussing in good faith, please stick to the talking points.
It seems you haven’t read any of the linked articles, so there is no need to talk about this any further until you do.
So because Egypt isn’t doing enough, Israel isn’t to blame? Right. Solid argument.
What Egypt does or doesn’t do does not in any way negate the fact that Israel is completely out of line.
What an argument “but look at them, they are also bad, which means the even badder guys must not be as bad”.
If you read the charter, you can see that if any of these things apply, it can be labelled a genocide. And you pick one and say “you need to provide proof”, glossing over the glaring fact that even without, it already counts as a genocide.
But sure, if you insist;
You mean right to defend itself under Article 51 of the UN charter, right?
That doesn’t apply if you’re an occupying force. And for anyone saying “Israel doesn’t occupy Gaza, there are no Israeli officials there” if you control movement, water, gas, power, food supplies, where civilians can and can’t travel to, and the territory is not allowed to exist independently, all of that “right to defend yourself” is null and void.
Always happy to help
