Ah darn, okay then.

Got an 02 still going strong that I’m delusional enough to hope lasts another 20 years.
As someone who was already only mostly playing single player games, the transition from Windows to Linux was so easy. All my games just work. The only multiplayer game I fuck with anymore is Battlebit Remastered, and that works great.
Since my style of learning is “jump in and figure it out as you go” (impulsive idiot), I’ve been very impressed with how much has just worked.
I’ve been afraid to recommend my set up to friends though because I don’t want to be their troubleshooter.

Marvel peaked with the first Blade movie and it’s all been varying flavors of downhill since then. This is the truth.
People tend to accept help quicker when it’s offered in a way that isn’t so cold and calculating. Going into a Mengele-esq diatribe about “animals” isn’t doing you any favors.
We just need to help those people fade a little faster then.
This argument would make more sense if this free society wasn’t the same society that would jail me for years for wanting to occasionally do some cocaine. As it stands, this is not a free society and this argument isn’t one.
I want to echo thanks for this, because this is such an incredible resource and it’s finally motivated my lazy ass to get to work setting up my server.
Best community, thanks again for this excellent guide.
Anecdotal, but I jumped straight into EndeavorOS from Windows 10 with very little knowledge about Linux before hand and it’s been a very “it just works” out of the box experience for me.
Granted I just use my PC mainly for gaming, but outside of a few issues that were my own fault for not reading/doing any research before wiping my Windows install, its been an incredibly smooth experience.
I switched to a PineTime watch from a FitBit about two months ago. I use a Pixel with GOS and no play services.
In my experience the PineTime is only good for heart rate monitoring and step counting, because so far that’s all mine has been able to do. The PineTime is nice for what it does and as a watch, but if you want more health monitoring look elsewhere.
Oh shit just in time for infrastructure week.

I had completely forgotten the name of this movie, but I’ve seen it like 15 times by choice.
Rome II, Attila, and Rimworld
Thanks for the explanation! That makes a lot more sense than what I assumed was an arbitrary number assignment.
Ryzen 9 7945X3D
I don’t know why this name is so funny to me. It just seems so much more ridiculous than an evenly named Ryzen 9 79500X3D. Like what, were getting 45 more units worth of a Ryzen 9 7900X3D, but not quite enough units for a Ryzen 9 7982X3D?

I’m a 30 year old who’s been waiting 14 months for a doctors visit to establish a primary care physician in the US.
I paid for a whole year of employer provided healthcare that I couldn’t even use the most basic function of. This system is great
