  • I’ve had some success with binaural beats. It’s two pure sin wave tones - one in each ear. The tones are out of tune with each other so it has a bit of a wavy or pulsing sound. But they’re close enough to sound like one note and not two. Apparently the difference between these two waves gets entrained into your brain waves even though you can’t hear it. My favorites are 94 hz carrying a 3 hz differential, 96 hz carrying a 4hz differential, and 115 hz carrying a 5 hz differential. I’m using an app called Binaural Beat Gen by TMSOFT. Anyway the very low brain waves are delta waves associated with deep sleep. In a way, it’s hacking your brain to sleep.

  • The problem is Toyota has marketed them as partial EV, which they never were. These are hyper-miling gas cars. The battery is only there to absorb break losses, and provide gentle acceleration when the engine can be off.

The other argument I hear is that hybrids are too complex because it has a gas and electric. But what is missed is that mechanically there are simplifications. Aside from the brilliant transmission, all the power steering, air con, etc are powered by electrical rather than belts. This means they work even with the engine off. To me, belts are just another point of failure/maintenance and noise - I’m glad to be rid of them.

  • Each passing day, might be the best health you see him in before he dies. It’s possible he has some undiagnosed aphasia and is compensating with AI for as long as possible.

Anyway plenty of younger people have offed themselves due to AI or gotten AI psychosis from full faith in the AI sycophant. I’m watching a loved one struggle with Parkinson’s.

So just give your dad a hug and tease him saying if you wanted AI advice you already know where to look.
