I tried it on the Gemini web app and couldn’t replicate the results. Is that different from the AI overview?

As someone who has used both the bidet shower and the in-seat style, you’re right. The bumgun tends to be more messy. Your hand will also tend to get wet, but not necessarily because of splashback.
I guess the guy doesn’t consider roman senators to be rogues. Probably gave advantage for the surprise attack though.
I really don’t understand why there’s so much hostility towards masks. I’ve always worn masks when I was sick and it was never a big deal for me. Wearing a mask all the time during 2020-2023 wasn’t a bother either.
While I agree that you could jump in with Yakuza: LAD, I think it might be worth playing the earlier games for Infinite Wealth because Kiryu is one of the main characters. There will probably be a lot of references to the previous games because of Kiryu’s bucket list.
Yeah, should be in the global achievements assuming you know which one is for finishing the game. So far, it looks like this is at 16.8%.
Taxis in my country would routinely ask for extra (usually 25-30% of the total fare) or have you pay them a fixed amount that’s way higher than if only the meter was used (about 2-3x the normal fare) . There are also taxis that have meters that are way too fast. Uber was a godsend when it first came out here.
Buildapac is probably still one of the best places to get advice on pc parts.
I live in a third world country and have to usually have to take taxis to get anywhere without being a sweaty mess and I’d love to the point where public transportation can get you anywhere in the metro, similar to how Hong Kong (where income taxes are pretty low as far as I know) does it.
I honestly don’t get their argument. Yes, the current situation is bad and will necessitate using cars, but isn’t that the point of the post? That things could be better? That getting to the reality where cars are not as needed would be great? It’s such a strange attack against people who want better public transportation infrastructure.
That guy has a weird hard-on for the epic games store. There was a post about it last month and that guy was saying the same things.
From what I remember, some of the content was already on the disk.
Does old.lemmy.world have a toggle for seeing NSFW posts? I can’t seem to find it.
First impressions matter and Epic fucked up big time when they launched the store. There were a lot of missing features that were available on other storefronts and it was a pain to use. Another thing that really pissed people off was when they made exclusivity deals for games that were crowdfunded. A lot of people did not like that they lost the ability to play on a platform that they preferred when they directly contributed to a game being made. It was also scummy to make deals for games that were already announced on Steam (i.e. Metro: Exodus, Darq) While the store is better now and they’re funding games instead of making exclusivity deals, there is a reason why a lot of people do not trust Epic or continue to dislike them despite the free games.
Epic Games hasn’t done it much lately, but when they first launched they paid a few big games to be Epic Games Store exclusives which is obviously anti-consumer behaviour.
Exclusivity deals on their own were pretty bad, but what really pissed people off was that some of the games that were made exclusive were crowdfunded.
I think they’re funding games now so that there’s less backlash to exclusivity.
They decided to go John Oliver only too, except people are now posting normal content and just putting a small John Oliver somewhere in the original picture.
This is also why I don’t mind the John Oliver stuff. It’s interesting for now, but it will get boring. I just hope it doesn’t get stupid like what happened on r/aww
This isn’t possible long term because infinite growth isn’t possible.
I could never grasp why the growth needs to be constantly growing instead of the business just consistently being able to generate profits. It’s not sustainable.
Having used a similar gun, it’s way more comfy than you think.
