Vote as if there weren’t two full sets of electors insulating you from the actual outcome.

Funny thing is, I did neither of those things the last time I had need to install; the script handled it for me.
Today I learned that simply allowing somebody else to be and look like they want to is privilege. Pray tell, kind being, how does one avoid this sort of privilege? Should I be pushing my opinion on everything with ears?
Pretty slim pickings there, but I can’t especially disagree. The point of the question really was to allow the poster to explain a very specific implication they made.
Yep. And I’m not against going to basic lynx when needed. But the person I responded to made a very specific implication, and I’d like their opinion.
Allow me to expand my point. If you are using a computing device of any type, you are using the fruits of the labor of IBM, Xerox, and AT&t from the 1950s and 1960s. That means, by your argument, you are glorifying racism, homophobia, sexual assault and xenophobia among other things. You should definitely get off the internet.
What do non-trumpets but still privacy focused people in your circles use?
I might suggest getting off the internet and finding a completely self-sufficient lifestyle then. I guarantee you there are people that you would disagree with in person, in every supply chain.
It’s not technically an arrest. In a high-stakes call, the police will typically detain everybody until they can figure out what’s going on. That means potential victims as well as potential attackers. It’s a safety measure.
This concept is just as dangerous as the right wing claiming LHC will open black holes. There’s an implication here that just as soon as LHC was turned on it suddenly gathered information about every unknown Force, particle, and energy in the universe.
The Large hadron collider took 4 years to confirm the higgs boson; as of today it is only on its third data collection run. LHC is hardly a silver bullet.
Since my votes for the presidential race are insulated from the vote count via electors in both the primary and national elections, I choose not to cast a vote for any loudmouth figurehead. Instead, I concentrate my energy on elections that affect my daily life; i.e. local and State races, including Senate and House of Representative races.
Take your “throwing away your vote” and stuff it in the nearest biological ballot box.
Things must be getting really bad if the president needs a second job…
Moved to pixel from HTC for the fast software updates. My next phone will likely be a pine phone or something similar; build quality on my last two pixels hasn’t exactly been up to snuff.
SHOCKING NEWS: Politicians lie, even to one another.
He must have just learned that men played women’s parts in the past and didn’t want to support all that “woke” stuff.
This is the practical outcome in a system where voters are forced to vote for the least problematic candidate out of a pool of two preselected politicians. Nothing will change, administration after administration, until the people are allowed to select their own candidates and the media promotes more candidates than just the big two.
Side note: a lot of people right now will be knee-jerking and wanting to respond to me that that’s what the primary system is for. Wilding v. DNC Services Corp and the Democratic primaries that caused it should disabuse anyone of that notion. And trust me, if the Democrats are dirty dealing so are the Republicans.
I built a kit car, painted a penguin on the side, and forgot to include the telemetry module. Oops.
I think I’ll travel somewhere else.
Jokes on them. They’ll get to watch a former mcse start the machine, play one specific game for a couple of hours, then reboot.
Legal eagle on YouTube and nebula has a recent video on this very subject. Short form? It’s over.
