Per the Microsoft KB for it, this only happens if Windows updates are installed before a user logs in for the first time. So basically re-images and especially VDI environments are at risk of this happening.

They do still have John Savill and Mark Russinovich but they are both focused on Azure. They really need someone like them on the Windows side.

I wouldn’t put it past these lawmakers to be investors in VPN companies, so they can make money off of these laws.

This woman is going to do to smoky eyes what Hitler did to the toothbrush mustache
I bet you could sell it as a reality TV show
Sounds right up my alley then
The Blues Brothers is my all time favorite movie. I’m the type of person who doesn’t like to rewatch things unless it’s been long enough for me to forget parts of it. But I’ve watched the Blues Brothers more times than I could count. Starting back whenever it was on TBS in the 90s, to when it was the first DVD I ever bought, to the two versions I have on my media server.
I have never heard of Nuts in May, so now I know what movie I’ll be watching next.

They offer me a job a while back and thankfully I turned them down. Their compensation offer was so crappy I was offended. Like $20k less than the minimum I told them. I told them it wasn’t even close and I was frankly offended, they came up like $5k, so I told them to kick rocks. Looks like I really dodged a bullet.
Seems like they were always behind on things like that. I had a friend that would come over to my house to update his TiVo because I still had a landline and it required a dial-up connection. This was in 2005, well after the decline of dial-up.

I bet half of them where on Jan 6 lists
I graduated in 99. Didn’t think I’d make that big of a difference.

I wonder how many of them were also on Jan 6 lists.
My kids love the Kiwico boxes. They have different ones designed for different ages. You can buy a single one of get a subscription where they get a new one every month.

Are you anywhere near Connecticut? I have a 50-60 foot tree in my yard that’s been completely incased by a kudzu vine.
No, now we have 3 hours of un-allocated time on this contract which has upset the client
I hate this so much. I got told to work slower once and argued back that they should be more confident and sell contracts based on deliverables, not time and materials.

Reminds me of a guy I knew who kept getting letters for a $10 parking fine he got while at university. He waited until they spent more in postage than the fine before paying it.
Or just bottom out really hard like I did to my Dodge Shadow in high school.
