I like the Spotify connect feature too. I think there are snaps or flatpaks that wrap the Apple Music web page into an application icon. A desktop app is really mostly relevant if you’re using the app to manage local music files. That said the Spotify connect feature is incredibly useful.

XZ is quite slow for compression when single threaded. When run in parallel it uses a significant amount of RAM. It creates some of the smallest files and is fast to decompress compared to other well-compressed alternatives.

It just lets you opt to see the folder size as an attribute in list view the same as you can a file in Windows or Linux. It’s more or less the same info as disk usage analyzer but without the flower and displayed inline which is useful and convenient.
“Show all folder sizes” is MacOS’ greatest innovation IMO. Honorable mention to Messages app.

If they were serious about mars then they should be building very large scale very long term habitats deep in the ocean. It’s a lot closer than Mars so if something goes wrong they can improve the design faster. A trip to mars is expected to take nearly 2 years!
I am convinced it’s the acceleration. Also because you have that ability, it influences you to take risks in traffic (eg. Pulling out of a stopped lane) that you might not take in an ICE car because you can’t hit a high scored fast enough. They opened Pandora’s box by making every family car a Porsche.

The tradition of giving pensions (at least for the president) started under Eisenhower. Everyone took one so Truman wouldn’t be humiliated because he was one of the few who entered office without prior wealth.
