  • You’re right, and by God… I’m worried. We need someone who can get in that seat and do the duties of the president. Imagine Biden’s not in his right state of mind and weapons shipments to Nazis in Ukraine need to be approved, or a railroad workers’ strike needs to be put down, or Israel needs more bombs to drop on Palestinian villages. Who is going to pull through? Who’s going to get up and say, “put those migrants in concentration camps and close the border, escalate tensions with China even if we sabotage renewable energy transition, and tonight I’ll make a speech where I lie through my teeth without stuttering or losing my train of thought”?

Well, this may be controversial, but, in my opinion the torch needs to be handed down to the next generation of CIA directors’ children, Star Trek: The Next Generation. These youngsters might just have both the patriotism and cognitive abilities to keep the child killing machine well-oiled. Slava Amerkani!

  • that’s the thing with dictatorships.

Thanks for admitting you were being dishonest about his condition. China is not a dictatorship. You have no idea how their system works. There are committee elections at all levels where delegates are selected by the people (with tiers leading to the NPC), and the CPC (~1 in 10 eligible as members) leadership is determined by democratic centralism with elections at party committees and congresses up to the Central Committee.

I’m not denying the holocaust, your denying another genocide!

It’s not a genocide. Not only has nobody been killed (except by the US-backed terror attacks), Uyghur culture is uplifted in the media and on the ground. People have to rely on the shoddy research [1] [2] of a bigoted Christian nationalist that works for a US government foundation started by Nazi collaborators (Zenz), awful reports by the BBC where they are let into education facilities and openly distort information, and numerous NED-funded orgs or MIC thinktanks whose evidence amounts to nothing.

Regarding the former, Adrian Zenz and James Mulvenon (former member of the U.S. state adjacent Council on Foreign Relations and member of the National Committee on United States - China Relations, which along with the Defense Group Inc.—of which he is vice-president–provides military policy planning and assessments to the United States Government) affirmed some anonymously leaked ICIJ “China Cable” Documents, one of which is a top-secret telegram which the ICIJ describes as:

“…from the Communist Party commission in charge of Xinjiang’s security apparatus. The telegram, written in Chinese, is an operations manual for running the mass detention camps. It is marked ‘secret’ and was approved by Zhu Hailun, then deputy secretary of Xinjiang’s Communist Party and the region’s top security official.”

Clearly what we have here is a document meant for only the highest levels of the bureaucracy, one which will divulge the actual thought process and rationale behind re-education policy, and cannot be construed as propaganda.

The document begins with a set of guidelines for running the facilities. First is “[to] ensure that the training venue is absolutely safe].” The guidelines follow:

“It is strictly forbidden for police to enter the student zone with guns, and they must never allow escapes, never allow trouble… never allow food safety incidents and major epidemics, and they must ensure the training center is safe and free of risk”

“Through letter writing, phone calls, video chats, visits, meetings, etc., establish a mechanism for students and relatives to interact with each other, to that the ensure students will have a phone conversation with their relatives at least once a month, to make their family feel at ease and the students feel safe.”

“…every effort should be made to fix employment work for completed graduates to ensure the smooth development of students with employment aspirations. For those who don’t have the ability to work and have difficulties in life, it is necessary to coordinate grassroots organizations to seriously carry out assistance and relief work, and effectively solve practical difficulties.”

There are further notes on strict time management, preventing earthquakes and fires, and also measures to surveil all areas. These seem comparable to prisons, which is in line with the highest facilities being reserved for radicalized terrorists (bulletin No. 20 deals with those spreading violent propaganda / those who have joined terrorist organizations). When considering that the United States promoted terrorist radicalization in Xinjiang, such things lose isolation. The document outlines a very strict process, but one not mentioning forced anti-religious practices such as consuming pork or alcohol [The Independent 29 May 2018], organ harvesting [Falun Gong cult allegations], forced labor [U.S. Dept. of Labor], or physical abuse/torture (again, we cannot make a case of propaganda, because these are again purportedly top-secret documents).

  • When was racism not normalized in the US? Wrt abortion, as I’m sure you know it was democrats who refused to codify Roe v. Wade and made it all the more easy for it to be torn down, Biden in the first place openly stating he’s not in favor of “abortion on demand.” The reason it wasn’t codified, though, is that it then couldn’t be used as a campaign strategy by the democrats in future elections. As I said earlier in the thread under this post, it’s well-known that Hillary and the DNC attempted to elevate Trump in the GOP as preferred opposition as well as democrats more recently funneling millions of dollars into the election campaigns of Republicans who deny the validity of the 2020 election results because this makes for what they believe is easy competition. It feels ridiculous to have to mention as well that Roe v. Wade was repealed under Biden’s presidency, and if Biden doesn’t have the power to reverse this then what are you campaigning for?

  • and somehow pro-renewables are also bad

Biden just signed into law higher tariffs on green energy products produced in China (where the vast majority are produced) in order to restrict supply and keep up the price of solar panels, EVs, and semiconductors in the US. Biden is building the same border wall Democrats were calling Trump a fascist for demanding in 2016, and expanding the immigrant concentration camps to boot. There’s also the proxy war in Nazified Ukraine where Ukrainians are thrown into the meat grinder for the MIC and the exhaustion of Russia’s resources, the continuation of global US military occupation and debilitating murderous sanctions on the DPRK, Cuba, Iran, and Venezuela. I fail to see where Trump is significantly worse.

  • I may not like Biden, but he has done as best as he can to fix the steaming pile of shit Trump left after his administration

    susie-laugh

It’s the Democrats propping up ultra-right Republicans with millions of dollars so that they can avoid change and blame it on the latter as well as have a propped up opposition to be the “lesser evil” against." You can’t even show Biden advocating for the fixing of the system of student loans! Also do you think only Republicans are ruled by corporate interests?

I hope you’re not talking about Trump’s administration in general as well, because I could point to Biden’s border wall and immigrant concentration camps among a slew of other things.

On top of that, he printed trillions of dollars in relief checks WITH HIS FUCKING NAME ON THEM! That has led to inflation and corporate price gouging!

It would take all day for me to explain to you how little you understand inflation, here’s a start. ALSO WHO THE FUCK CARES THAT HIS NAME WAS ON THE CHECKS? MSNBC-brained nonsense genuinely. I guess you prefer Biden’s strategy of telling cities to give all of their Covid relief funds to their police departments so they can more effectively brutalize the poor.

Trumps tax cuts are now starting to come into effect for the middle class and will continue into the next president’s term as they will continue to increase the deficit and raise taxes on the middle class. Meanwhile, the tax cuts to the wealthiest individuals and corporations are at an all time low, permanently.

If I hear the term “middle class” again the physical manifestation of my knowledge will pour out of my head. You don’t even know what you’re saying.

Laws come from the legislative branch, not the president!

According to the ideals of the system and the all-important “checks and balances,” the president should be able to “check” the legislative branch, correct? The president can either directly veto legislation created by Congress or “pocket veto” legislation by simply neglecting to sign it into law.
