Remember folks: China is communist in the same way that North Korea is democratic and the Nazis were socialist.
It’s just a smokescreen.

Like, I’m in that position too, except I have a touch of the 'tism to go along with it. Not so much that I can’t function, but enough to the point that socializing is exhausting. I get nothing but bots when I try online dating, and going out mostly just results in people asking me why I’m always just standing in a corner by myself.
Really, I just need a wingman, but I don’t know anybody who would be willing or able to do it; my brother and both of my closest friends live an hour-and-a-half away and my BIL has very young kids.
I’m at a point where I’m not sure if it’s ever gonna happen.
I’m not even really horny anymore. I just want someone to lay on top of me and just fucking crush my soul back in to my body while I cry.
That shouldn’t be surprising, given his history.
Don’t fucking stop. Don’t listen to the polls, good or bad. Our republic depends not merely on winning, but running up the score, so that there’s no doubt about who won.
And if that’s not enough reason, every vote for Kamala is just 1 more Psychic damage that Trump takes after the election. He thinks everyone loves him; your vote is proof that he’s wrong, and it will drive him MAD.
Vote. Vote. VOTE.
Well, shit. Now I can’t unhear it.
Dude, I’m scared in a way that only someone who has a history degree can be scared. We are currently in the lead-up to the next global conflict, and this time, we have the capability to destroy ourselves.
I’m seeing what is going on now, and it’s the same thing that was happening in Europe in the 1920s. I’ve been saying that January 6 was the GOP’s Munich Beer Hall Putsch. We’re gonna find out in a couple weeks if we’re gonna let the new fascists gain power like Hitler did in the 30s.
While this isn’t surprising, Green Forest in particular is a case where I’d be shocked if it wasn’t happening. I grew up in the area, and I’d say that half of the town are immigrants and the Tyson plant employs twice as many people than the rest of the town combined. Lots of poor families who are struggling to make ends meet would definitely be desperate enough to send their kids to work there.
It’s bad everywhere, but that plant in Green Forest is a particularly egregious case.
When I was in college, I found a hand-bound report from the Department of the Treasury, written in 1939, about the financial situation in Nanking during the Japanese occupation. I was writing a report about the Rape of Nanking for a history class, and I stumbled upon it while searching the university library.
I was shocked that it wasn’t in their archives, and even more shocked that they let me check it out.
Shadowrun (the arena shooter) probably would’ve been better received if it were named basically anything else.
Frank didn’t even look at it. He just fed your claim into their computer and it spat out a rejection.
“It is not the severity of punishment that deters crime, but the certainty of punishment.”
I feel like there is a difference between voting for someone and voting against someone.
I don’t like how noted war criminal amd possible lizard person Dick Cheney endorsed Harris, but Cheney has never said, “I like what Harris is going to do”; instead, he tried to frame it as a vote against Trump because…well, it’s Trump.
And of course, right-wingers don’t have any capability for self-reflection, because the proper response to fucking Dick Cheney calling you evil is to look in the mirror and ask yourself some hard questions.
I want to be the one to point out that retired generals making political statements is heavily frowned upon, so for them to take a step beyond that and ENDORSE A CANDIDATE is practically unheard of except in fringe cases like Michael Flynn.
Upper brass is a pretty exclusive club, and retirees don’t generally make political statements to avoid stepping on the toes of the currently serving generals/admirals. If multiple generals/admirals felt the need to take this step, they would’ve done it with the knowledge and consent of current leadership.
Journeys (the shoe chain) and Hollister Co. both use Linux distros on their point of sale machines. Hollister’s machines are pretty locked down and can basically only run the RPoS software, but a lot of Journeys’ software is browser-based, so they have to be a bit more capable.
Pretty sure they’re both custom distros, though.
A man who died a slow and excruciating death of lung cancer after spending most of his career denying that smoking caused cancer.
Good riddance.
He done already sold it, if the empty classified documents folders they found at Mar-a-Lago are any indication.
