The one and only chat I had was when there was a brigade of a small sub and I responded to someone spreading misinfo. The mods locked the thread but that didn’t stop this troll from trying to respond so they typed up there response in a chat message. After that I disabled receiving chat from strangers.
I still don’t get why Lemmy instances don’t default to “Hot”. Kbin does it right by going with “Hot” as default. All “Active” does is dog pile on posts that are almost a day old, sometimes even older than that.
You know what, what’s even the point of “Active” at this point with so many active users?
This reminds me of the video Kyle Hill did where he investigated a similar fake nuclear accident post online and it concluded with him searching for pony play.
Tried it again right now and it seems to be working again (at least for me) on desktop browser and mobile apps.
Oh yeah, well I’ll need to see a CT scan showing no kidney stones before I believe that no one was hurt during this pee.
The constant rubbing against your thigh while walking as well as the sweat produced will rub it off.
As long as your skin is softer than Luke Cage you won’t have a problem with bumping into stuff. I’ve handled 50 lb metal equipment by leaning it on my right thigh (where my phone is) and it hasn’t chipped or cracked.
I’m guessing y’all hate the oleophobic coating on your screens cause the top two will rub off the coating faster. I do bottom right and even after 4 years on the same phone my fingers still glide on the glass.
It’s all about maintaining 3 points of contact when moving a limb. 2 feet and a hand or 2 feet and a hip/knee when using both hands. If your feet are on the top step then you don’t have a knee or hip to keep the 3rd point of contact. And stepping on the top cap means no where to lean onto if you lose your balance (this one is self explanatory).
