I went to my family Christmas with my then-partner. I got a Grinch onesie from my family

We then attended my partner’s family Christmas where basically the entire living room was stuffed with presents for the kids (my partner and their siblings). My then-partner complained about how the siblings all got more $$ worth of presents. I pointed out that I got a pair of pjs for Christmas. The reply: “it’s not about the dollar amount, it’s just they got more than me” (paraphrased)

I hated that present. A fucking onesie? It was such a disappointing present, and for a long time I used it as an example for questions just like this

I kept it and wore it. Eventually I lost the bitterness and started to cherish it even. Which is why I still wear it regularly this time of year! It’s quite warm… plus, it has pockets!

    Grinch tax:

I love guinea pigs. They are absolutely chill; capybaras and guinea pigs seem to be the same animal sized in xs and xl

I had one I used to hold in my arm like a football or a baby. His head would be in the crook of my arm and I’d hold his butt in my hand and he’d drape his back legs over my arm. He would stay like that for hours he was so content

I don’t have any pictures of him handy, but he was adorable. Calico colored with short hair up front and long hair in back. And he was a big boi! He wasn’t fat, just grew very large

  • A part of me actually wished that the Onion would have purchased InfoWars, but in secret, like maybe under a subsidiary corp that has a right-wing sounding name.

"Today we celebrate a new addition to the Global Tetrahedron LLC family of brands. "

    don’t change Infowars’ branding

"Founded in 1999 … InfoWars has distinguished itself as an invaluable tool for brainwashing and controlling the masses.

InfoWars has shown an unswerving commitment to manufacturing anger and radicalizing the most vulnerable members of society—values that resonate deeply with all of us at Global Tetrahedron.

No price would be too high for such a cornucopia of malleable assets and minds. … a steep bargain: less than one trillion dollars."

I’m absolutely not disagreeing with you; I believe the onion will continue on doing “its thing” and keeping on-brand for both entities. Do exactly what you say and publish articles either believable or outlandish enough to break through to people

  • That’s a bit of internet history literally no one in my life would be interested in or care to hear in the slightest (except my partner who I just tried to convey what I remembered, but will give a better overview after reading some articles if I can find any. They remember the sites but don’t remember the drama)

Do you remember Fredryk Phox? And the drama between with him and ebaumsworld?
