Didn’t the UK recently have a controversial online safety act or something? And didn’t many servers defederate UK servers as result?

I’ve tried out the demo now. It is not too bad. I realize some limitations might be because this is a demo and not the full game. Still, it’s a bit slow going. I’ve seen the Red Dark, and I’ve escaped the planet, so I did the full questing available in the demo.

What I liked about (modded) Minecraft is the crazy-ass automation stuff, I’m not seeing much of that here if any. This one’s really more like an adventure with a set goal I think? I hope it really has more automation in the full game otherwise you’re waiting a long time for stuff to process.

I have to admit this game did play smoothly, so that’s a big plus. Didn’t feel buggy at all or anything. Just needed a little bit of figuring out the UI and such but that’s a given with any new game.

Wanten would actually be mittens. Gloves where all the fingers are fused together. Mostly used by kids or cooks (the ovenwanten 😋).

Obsidian charges for sync, but you can totally do your own syncing with other means.

I see there’s a zooplus.co.uk, and they sell Wild Freedom which I buy regularly. I believe that food is from Germany. It’s got a high meat content and no grains which is ideal for cats. I believe Animonda Carny and Feringa are also good ones, all German. There are some nice deals at times, and if you buy the biggest cans they’re just as cheap as those Whiskas sachets that everybody around me seem to buy out of convenience. Just healthier.

The Fediverse is diverse. Do you want something looking like the original Instagram? We’ve got it. Just a Twitter-clone (without algorithms)? We got it too. Something like Reddit? Sure thing, why not! Something to track your books with? Yeah, that’s around as well. Something doesn’t exist yet? Don’t worry, it eventually will! 😋

And the fun thing… Most of the platforms can interact with each other since they speak mostly the same language on the same network! You don’t like the interface of Mastodon? No worries, go use Misskey or Akkoma or whatever! Mastodon-users will still be able to read your posts! No more moving to a nicer looking platform and finding out that all your followers have to move along too or you’d be shouting all alone into the void!
