Germanic languages tend to use the second word in a compound as the noun and the first as a modifier.
Blue ocean is an ocean that is colored blue where ocean blue is a shade of blue.
Conversely snowshoe is a shoe meant for use on snow. Shoesnow is nonesense rather than snow stuck to your shoe.
A possible option working within existing systems would be:
Parental leave: you get pop sustain rate (2.1?) parental leaves banked. You use 1 leave for every child you have and bank is allowed negative with no penalty. At 45 or so you get to use your bank without being a parent.
Something like 95% of people become parents.

Granted loneliness can definitely cause depression, so an exceptional case there.
In terms of dark room vs. extrovert, i can speak from experience that both can feel lonely and the depressive episodes still come and go. IMO better to have higher highs because you’re getting the lows either way 🤷.
