Can we all stop using npm at this point?

Lmao, it’s more like “we can’t put it into a handheld because it’s idle power draw is around 25 watts”
Unless they did some unbelievable optimization, the rtx spark is basically the same chip as the dgx spark which idles at 25w.

To be clear, We don’t really know the architecture or model size of claude or chatgpt. If opus is a 1 trillion parameter dense model, then yes of course it’s going to be way more expensive to run than deepseak which is an 862 billion parameter MoE model. American models have focused on being the best regardless of cost where chinese model makers were forced to focus on efficiency because of lack of access to chips. Which will probably give them an advantage as the free investor money runs out for the american companies.
The constant training is simply how AI works and will continue to work chinese or american. That cost will never go away. Anytime you need your model to learn new skills or gain new knowledge, it needs to be trained.
No, Catholics really believe that those crackers and wine are physically transformed into the flesh and blood of christ. Other christians treat it as symbolic, but catholics are very literal about it.

It’s still an operating system. Not implementing something is saying “this OS is not to be used in a country / state with age verification laws” Basically baring anyone in california or wherever implements these laws from using the OS in a legal way. I suspect most of these OS’s (even ones that are not “under US jurisdiction”) are going to eventually do something like when you install it asks where you are located and if its in a location where age verification is required it installs the age verification system.

It’s not like OpenBSD is exempt from the law. If they aren’t implementing some version of it, they are just hoping no one enforces anything.

Immediate silent death is grossly over exaggerating. Even in Chernobyl which was absolute worst case scenario that can’t happen with modern designs, the “immediate death” area was directly around the plant.
The concern is cancer in 30 years, not immediate death. Not that trying to downplay cancer, but it really only makes it uninhabitable for humans who live much longer than 30 years. A lot of wildlife basically doesn’t notice since their lives are shorter. It doesn’t mean we should be cavalier about irradiating the environment, but there is no need to go around calling it immediate death.

I understand what veracrypt is, i don’t understand willingly using an operating system that constantly violates your privacy at every given opportunity.

Or don’t use an operating system that uploads your encryption keys to their corporate servers for “backup”.

Torvalds likes his computer quiet so that psu with so much overhead, the fan probably won’t ever turn on.

High comedy

I would just put “N/A” in each box. they probably won’t contact me anyway so whatever.
So it sounds like cafestol is the most potent cholesterol synthesis agonists, but that it is in such small amounts in the beans that using a paper filter essentially eliminates it entirely. Even without a paper filter, its low enough that the studies show that you would need to drink more than 4 cups a day of unfiltered coffee for it to start having any sort of impact.
Do you have a source on that?
All ideas are made up
You were taught incorrectly then, I grew up catholic as well (also now atheist) and it was made very clear to me that it is not symbolic, it is an actual transformation. This is directly from the US conference of catholic bishops website: Is the Eucharist a symbol? The transformed bread and wine are truly the Body and Blood of Christ and are not merely symbols.
I remember very specifically that learning this official belief being one of the things that made me start questioning my religion. Like I can very clearly see that no transformation is happening so, it started making me question everything else they were telling me.
